Temples and Celebration

The egyptians had temples situated all over Egypt, each one for a specific god. ALl the temples are greatly decorated with heiroglyphics about the god, and statues and pillars. There are also temples for the pharaohs, since they thought pharaohs were "living gods". the temples of the most important gods are in the capital of egypt. Every day, priests or pharaohs come and take care, feed, and entertain the "possessed statue of that god". They wash him, give him meals, tell him stories, sing, dance, and play music for them.
